- Welcome to the Virginia Kitchens blog, managed by Hannah Rasa, LEED AP, AKBD, NCIDQ! Hannah grew up in Asheville, NC and has been designing kitchens since 2005. She completed her business administration degree at Meredith College and her interior design degree at East Carolina University along with a Certificate in Urban Form and Development. Hannah has achieved design and environmental credentials from the National Kitchen and Bath Association, the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, and the US Green Building Council. She loves working with clients from the conceptual design stage through the remodeling process to the installation stage to create beautiful and functional kitchens. Space planning, colors, textures, and organization are her favorite elements of kitchen design. Her own love of baking gives her a unique perspective when designing a kitchen. She is gifted at turning a client’s dream into reality.
